Deaconess Board promotes food drive

The Greater First Baptist Church Deaconess Board is promoting a food drive during the month of November for the Lighthouse Outreach Center, 1411 W Hensley, Bartlesville. The church body is asked to help support this worthy cause to help fill their pantry. Please bring items to the church. The food list will be posted on the bulletin board. Guest Reception Invite on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009

You are invited to the Greater First Baptist Church Guest Reception from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 in the Fellowship Hall at the church, 216 SW 10th St., Bartlesville.
Come meet the leadership team and learn about the history and vision of the church. Refreshments will be served, and it is casual and interactive! This event offers an opportunity for visitors and new members to learn more about GFB and to meet the staff in a more intimate, informal setting. Help is needed for set-up, greeting and clean-up.
GFB holds Christian Education Congress, Nov. 11-13, 2009
Greater First Baptist Church will hold the Christian Education Congress on Nov. 11-13, 2009 at the church, 216 SW 10 St., Bartlesville. Theme: Making Disciples With A Kingdom Agenda (Matthew 28: 19-20). Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 11 and Thursday, Nov. 12. Refreshments will be served following service on Friday, Nov. 13. Nursery will be provided. The schedule will convene as followed (see below):
