GFB Vacation Bible School - Community Service Project

GFB is collecting the following items to be presented to the Green Country Free Clinic:

• Tylenol


• Advil


• Motrin


• Thermometers

Note: Tylenol, Advil, Motrin and Sudafed are acceptable in chewable or liquid form. Please check expiration dates to make sure medication will not expire in the next 3 months

Your donations should be brought to the church by Thursday, August 7th.

Monetary "donations" for the service project may be given to Dorthy Davis, Margaret Dodd, or Teresa Parker.

Leave other donations with Registration Committee: Lois Flemons, Clarice Pettiford & Norma Wright

Extreme Makeover: Healing Wounded Women to Live a Holy Lifestyle

This is the theme for our 10th annual women’s ministry conference/banquet that will be held the weekend of August 22-24, 2008 and all ladies (ages 13 and older) are invited to attend. The conference itinerary is as follows:

Friday, Aug 22, 2008 Dinner: GFB Fellowship Hall at 6PM
Conference Assembly: GFB Sanctuary- 7PM
Note: Both events are for ladies only and are held at no cost to attendees.

Saturday, Aug 23, 2008 Banquet: Nazarene Fellowship Hall at 6PM

Attention all Gentlement: You are cordially invited to join the ladies at the banquet!

The cost is $25.00 per person and the attire is Semi-Formal. The selected colors for the event are Black and Gold.

Registration forms are available in the foyer at the front entrance to the sanctuary and special envelopes can be requested from the ushers to place your payment for the banquet.
